A Story of Family, Faith, and Meaningful Travel
If you asked me who I am, "travel advisor" wouldn't be the first thing I'd say.
I'm a Christ follower, a wife, a mother, and a friend. I care deeply about people and want what's best for them. Integrity, honesty, perseverance, and resilience are values that guide not only how I live, but how I serve others.
Years ago, my husband and I made a decision that would shape the way we spent our money and our time. We wanted to give our children experiences instead of more stuff.
Like many families, we lived on one income for many years, and for a long time I assumed travel was something other people did—people with bigger budgets or fewer responsibilities. But over time, we discovered something that changed our perspective: we can afford what we prioritize.
So we made travel a priority.
By God's grace and blessing, planning carefully and saving intentionally, we've enjoyed several trips over the past several years. Those trips gave us far more than souvenirs. They gave us memories, laughter, traditions, and stories that we still talk about today.
In fact, whenever my husband and I travel alone, we often find ourselves wishing the kids were there to experience it with us. And vowing never to travel without them... Until we need that time of connection again.
Those years with our children at home are precious, and they're fleeting.
That's why I started Harbor & Hearth Travel.
I wanted to help families like mine discover that meaningful travel doesn't have to be reserved for the wealthy or the extravagant. Whether you're working with a modest budget or planning something more luxurious, I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and invest in the people they love most.
I also know firsthand that planning a vacation can feel overwhelming. Researching destinations, comparing options, understanding travel requirements, and managing all the details takes time—and for busy parents, time is often in short supply.
I actually enjoy that part.
I love the planning, the details, the tips and tricks that can turn a stressful experience into a relaxing one. My goal is to take that work off your plate so you can focus on the anticipation and excitement of your upcoming trip and the memories waiting to be made.
I believe strong families begin with strong marriages. There is no marriage without continuing to date your spouse, and getting away together matters. At the same time, there are only so many years our children are under our roof, and I believe those years are worth celebrating and savoring. Travel is one way to do that.
Travel allows us to slow down, reconnect, and experience God's beautiful creation together.
When you think of Harbor & Hearth Travel, I hope you think of trust. I hope you think of a calm and welcoming place where planning is taken care of, where you feel understood, and where approachable luxury meets honest guidance.
Because at the end of the day, Harbor & Hearth Travel isn't just about vacations.
It's about creating space for the people we love most.
It's about making memories that become traditions.
And it's about returning home with hearts that are fuller than when we left.
